Established in 2003 , Ya'an Bifengxia Panda Reserve is about 120km south from Chengdu . Housing about 80 pandas , Bifengxia Giant Panda reserve was also the shelter for pandas evacuated for Wolong striken by earthquake in 2008 . It is the giggest home of all the overseas pandas coming back to China . Xiangxiang , the first ever panda reintroduced in the wild from capativity , also grew up in Bifengxia panda reserve .
